In the 1980’s and 1990’s, Mark served the Boy Scouts of America in many roles (camp director, district executive, senior district executive) in addition to his passion for development / fund raising work (finance director, director of finance service).
From 1990 and beyond, he continued to provide consulting to not-for-profits in the area of governance and development.
In early 2024, as Mark transitioned from his service in The River Conference of the Free Methodist Church, he once again embraced his development background in his work with ICCM of the Free Methodist Church.
In 2024 he obtained credentials with National Association of Nonprofit and Executive (NANOE) as a Certified Nonprofit Executive (CNE), Certified Development Executive (CDE) and Certificate Nonprofit Coach (CNC).
